The New Sunday Market

North Walsham’s Sunday Market offers a vibrant, experience-led take on the traditional market town atmosphere, transforming the historic marketplace into a lively destination filled with independent traders, creatives, food vendors and local makers. Held on the last Sunday of every month throughout the year, the market focuses on quality, creativity and discovery, bringing together a carefully curated mix of artisan products, handmade goods, vintage finds, local food, crafts, art and unique independent businesses from across Norfolk and beyond.

More than just a place to shop, the Sunday Market is designed as a sociable town-centre experience. Live music, street food and a welcoming community atmosphere encourage visitors to spend time exploring the market and the wider town. Independent cafés, pubs and local businesses throughout North Walsham help create a full day-out experience.

Located in the heart of North Walsham, the Sunday Market is easy to access from across Norfolk and the East of England. North Walsham railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the marketplace, with regular rail services connecting the town to Norwich, Cromer, Sheringham and the wider North Norfolk coast via the Bittern Line. Local bus routes also serve the town centre, offering connections to surrounding villages, coastal towns and nearby attractions. For those travelling by car, several public car parks are located close to the market, making North Walsham an accessible and convenient destination for a relaxed Sunday visit, independent shopping and exploring the local area.
